Interpretation of Results

[0 - 4]: No symptoms of depression.
No signs of depression. Stay educated and ensure you maintain your mental health

[5 - 9]: Minimal symptoms of depression.
It’s good to keep attentive towards how you are feeling. Education on causes of depression and awareness is good. It is common to have minimal symptoms of depression when grieving or during other impactful life events.

[10 - 14]: Minor depression.
Awareness is very important at this stage. If these symptoms have lasted longer than one month, it is a good idea to see a therapist and engage in psychotherapy.

[15 - 19]: Major depression, moderately severe.
If you aren’t already, it is highly recommended that you see a therapist. Your therapist may recommend medication alongside psychotherapy.

[20+]: Major depression, severe.
It is highly recommended you a therapist. Your provider will likely recommend medication alongside psychotherapy.
